I’ve been working as a psychotherapist since 1999, and now run a private practice, seeing clients in Clapham and Central London. I’m always happy to hear from potential clients who would like to discuss whether the work I offer is appropriate to their needs. You’re welcome to ring/e-mail me at any time if you have any queries, or we can arrange to have a 10-15 minute conversation over the telephone to explore what you’re looking for.
I offer a wide range of psychotherapy and personal development work, dealing with various issues including anxiety, depression and loss. My particular interest is in issues around identity, self-esteem, isolation and life transitions. I've worked in various roles offering assistance to people suffering from difficulty or distress in their lives. I have crisis support experience and before my practice as a psychotherapist, I worked in the legal profession dealing with domestic violence, family and welfare issues. In my current practice, I offer weekly sessions – some people attend on an open-ended basis, others use sessions until a particular issue has been resolved.
Outside of psychotherapeutic work, I have a particular interest in workplace problems. I conduct executive coaching and employee support, helping people to address the many pressures they face in the modern workplace. This workplace issues expertise is informed by my legal experience in the commercial sector, which has included work in a city law firm and a large plc.
This website contains information about my practice, and psychotherapy in general – I hope you find it informative and useful.
Best wishes.
Christian
